DEVELOPMENT OFFICER UPDATE

Welcome to all of our junior Hawks supporters to our home league match against league leaders Currie. The boys will be looking to build on their victory in their last league outing against Boroughmuir, so please get behind them from kick off and cheer them onto a Hawks victory.

Tomorrow will see all of our junior sides at home, so if you are free please come down to Old Anniesland and support the future Hawks stars. The under 13’s and 14’s are playing against West of Scotland, kick off is 13:00. The under 16’s will be looking to continue their unbeaten league season in the West division 1, tomorrows opponents are Marr and kick off as 14:00. The most important game tomorrow will see the under 15’s play North Berwick in the semi final on the Scottish Bowl, this is a huge team effort to get this far and the boys would appreciate all the support they can get, kick off for this one is at 14:00.

The Hawks community tag rugby programme is right in the middle of block 2, this will finish at the end of March, at the moment we are working with the Knightswood Learning community. Hawks would like to take this chance to thank Louise Keating (ASC) for organising all of these sessions and allowing Hawks the chance to coach rugby in these schools. The schools involved are Bankhaed primary, Blairdardie primary, Garscadden primary, Knightswood primary, Scotstoun primary and Yoker primary.
