Good afternoon and welcome to Old Anniesland for this Scottish Hydro Premier 1 match versus Currie and also a warm welcome to Currie and head coach Ally Donaldson.

Its great to be back playing again and for Glasgow Hawks it is a opportunity to see how fair we have improved since our last game against Currie, a game I’m sure we would all like to forget. With both Currie & Ayr to play at Old Anniesland I’m pretty sure that Glasgow Hawks can influence where the title ends up this season

It has been a pretty awful time this last couple of months with the weather playing its part in ruining many Saturday afternoons for many people all over Scotland and so the debate about summer rugby raises its head once again. We are starting to lose to many games to the weather over the last few years so maybe its time to look again at the timing of our season – thoughts on a postcard to your SRU Council Rep!!
