Gregor McDougals S2 squad got off to a tremendous Start in their opening match of the season.A powerful forwards display in the first half created a solid base from which the backs were able to dominate the game.With 3 points being awarded for a try and 1 for a conversion at S2 level the try count of 10 to zero speaks for itself.
The intensive work carried out by the squad at pre season training is already paying dividends and all players deserve a big pat on the back for their efforts thus far.
The season has a long way to go but with a sustained level of commitment by the whole squad they certainly have the ability to achieve great things this year.
The next match is against Gala at home next Sunday KO 1:00pm.This will be a much sterner test for the boys and all support would be greatly appreciated.
