Game played at frantic pace, both teams looking to finish 2nd in league. Hawks defended brilliantly for 10 mins before getting ahead with pen from Chippy O'Donnell and great try from Paddy Boyer in corner, Chippy adding extras 10-0. E.A back into it with pen and length of field try in corner. 10-8. H-T. EA began to move ball wide, their backs looking dangerous. Ending in score in corner which stand-off converted from touchline. Hawks now chasing the game. Back to 15-15 when Skinny Murray scored a great try from broken play. Heading for draw until EA stand-off grabbed ball 45metres out, swivelled and struck winning drop-goal. Game over!!! 15-18.
