Welcome to all Hawks Junior Rugby players and supporters for our home match against Watsonians. In our last home game against Edinburgh Accies the whole squad put in a great performance and came away with the vital win. Please get behind the players and cheer them onto a victory at Old Anniesland today and help them on their push to the British and Irish Cup.
The Glasgow Hawks community programme has just finished block 2 of our Tag rugby programme, we have now delivered a 6 week programme in 11 of our 16 local primary schools. The remaining 5 schools will receive their 6 week coaching block from the middle of April – Start of June.
I could not write this community update without giving thanks to 2 of our 1st team players Andy White and Rory McKay, both players have been giving up their own time on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday to put the Hawks under 14 and 15 players through a strength and conditioning programme, Without the players giving up their time this would not be possible so many thanks to you both.
Next Friday night Glasgow Hawks will be playing Ayr at Old Anniesland, kick off is 19:30, before the match, The Hawks community team will be running a pre match clinic from 18:00 – 19:00, this is open to all mini rugby players, for more info contact Grant on 07825181041 or check the website www.glasgowhawks.com
