GHK MATCH REPORT

Hawick Linden 37 GHK 0

It is hard to find anything positive to say about this game and so rather than go through a litany of bungles, balls ups and plain poor playing I will just make some comments.
The team was makeshift but even this does not excuse such a woeful performance. I know we are some 4 weeks past the official last game of the season - 6th March - and this has made life very tough for the coaching team trying to maintain continuity and training numbers. We have 3 games left and there really has to be a more determined commitment from the players or we stand to throw away all the great efforts we have made in the season to date.
Three home games to come and we simply must apply ourselves more. At the first game of the season I was thinking I'd be happy if we just stayed in National 3 but now we have shown our potential and we really must be in the top 4 to call this season a success. As well as that there is the real possibility of promotion if we can finish 3rd - hard but very possible. So come on guys it's up to you to put Saturday's debacle into perspective as a one off aberration.
Make us proud again!
