With Stirling having won league, 2's needed bonus point win to finish runners-up. Aberdeen fighting to avoid relegation put Hawks under heavy pressure and led 5-0 after 10 mins. Eventually got into game, Robert Niven piled thru' tackles to level it. Chippy O'Donnell added conv and 2 pens, made it 13-5 after 25mins. Game was won by superb counter attacking in last 10mins. Chippy and Paddy Boyer scored solo tries and Jonno Wright cruised in for 2 more long range efforts. HT 41-5. Aberdeen tried everything to get back in it but defence solid and Robert Niven and Mike Martin finished them off with tries from great lead up work. 53-5 after an hour. Aberdeen kept plugging away and scored last. FT 53-12. Great finish to league , credit to all players involved and gives us a solid foundation to push on for next season.
