HERIOT'S remain on track to secure a top-four finish in the Scottish Hydro Premier League and possible qualification for next season's British and Irish Cup after a hard-fought home victory over Glasgow Hawks.
The visitors had the upper hand at half time, three penalties from U20 cap Duncan Weir giving his side a 9-8 lead. The home side's scores came through an unconverted try from winger Marc Teague and a penalty by Graham Wilson.

Both teams crossed for converted tries, with Teague bagging his second of the day before Hawks prop George Hunter crashed over.

Wilson gave his side the edge once more with a further penalty, but a Kerr Gossman try appeared to have snatched the win for Hawks. Heriot's then grabbed a dramatic winner in the final play of the game when flanker Michael Maltman scrambled over for a score and Wilson added the conversion.
