Final Accies update from Ally G

Good afternoon everyone
Please be advised that the Hawk's last game of the season against Currie on Saturday 8th May has been transferred to Burnbrae as Old Anniesland is being used for cricket that day. The kick off is at 3-00
Hawk's need to win this game to finish in 4th place in the league. This will ensure qualification fo the British & Irish competition next season. Currie require to win the game to ensure that they win the championship. There is therefore a lot to play for. Please go to Burnbrae and cheer Hawks on to a victory.
Last Saturday Accies played in the Howe of Fife 7's and were runners up. A very good achievement considering that it was their first 7's outing of the season.
Lasswade won again on Saturday and now lie 3 points behind Accies in the table with one game to play. They play Hawick YM at home this Saturday. A win will secure promotion leaving Accies in 3rd place. Needless to say there will be a lot of support for the Hawick team from Accies. This must surely be a first.
There is still some talk of league reorganisation. We will keep you informed of any changes. In the meantime have an enjoyable summer.

Alasdair Graham
