Hello everyone,
On the Scrounge...
Since retiring from rugby early last season I've been wondering what to do with myself to keep active and lose the small belly that has mysteriously started to form. So I'm going to be taking part in the Martin Currie Rob Roy challenge on the 19th June this year with a group of friends & work colleagues, and I was wondering if you'd be so kind as to sponsor me for my efforts.
The challenge involves a 16 mile walk/jog (planning on jogging, but may end up walking) then a 39 mile cycle along part of the West Highland Way known as the Rob Roy Way.
It would be greatly appreciated if you could spare a few pounds (Sterling) to sponsor me, as currently I have raised the least out of the team, and they are beginning to question whether I actually have as many friends as I say I do (I've told them I'm just disorganised but they are beginning to doubt me..). You can donate online by following the link below to my sponsorship page, where you can also find out more about the challenge.
The charities benefiting from the monies raised are; Sightsavers International, The Prince's Trust, The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust and the NSPCC.
Thank you in advance for your wonderful generosity.
Hopefully see you soon.
Stevie Duffster
