Islay re-established itself as the most hardcore annual event on both its physical code and drinking culture. Great group of lads which ended up consisting of;

The great irony this year was that the ‘Free Whisky tent’ which Snoz created as a huge lie to sign so many of us up 3 years ago became a reality which was hilarious and then subsequently very dangerous.

In classic Accie fashion we were slow starters getting humped by Hills 6 nil in the first game during which I was on the end of the official biggest hit of the tournament which was character building and cartilidge smashing all at once. We then found our feet mainly due to our spiritual coach from the Findhorn community; John Williamson, who inspired us to some much needed wins which took as to the semis only to be well beaten by a Melrose select distillery team.

Paul Allan was of course on fine form………
