Glasgow Warriors have announced that they will no longer compete at the Challenge Vaquerin tournament in France as part of their pre-season schedule.
After the rigours of Scotland's three representative tours, as well as Canada's involvement in the Churchill Cup, the Warriors currently have 22 members of a 36-man squad unavailable for selection.
Instead, the Warriors will head to the sportscotland National Centre at Inverclyde, for a three day intensive camp. They will then play Scottish Hydro Cup champions Ayr at Millbrae on Saturday 7 August (ko 3.00pm).
The squad will complete their training with two fixtures already announced against Sales Sharks (Firhill, Friday 20 August, ko 7.30pm) and London Wasps (Adams Park, Saturday 28 August, ko 3.00pm
