In an era of political correctness and sexism where scribes have to walk on eggshells it is with trepidation that I remind our readers about an accolade recently awarded to Anniesland---- noted "for hot totty"
To quote "I scrawled the words hot totty in my notepad translated from my partois it meant an immediate recognition that I had entered a world of class and quality"
This was no idle observation but an observation by an author who travelled the land and who has written a book in fact two books on the rugby grounds of Britain from Hawick to Harlequins from Wasps to Watsonians with no other venue the length and breadth of Britain coming by this notation
