Scottish Cup holders Ayr look set to have last season's Premier One player of the season Gordon Reid back when they face London Scottish in their final pre-season match at Millbrae this afternoon at 3pm.
Jono Crossan and Andy Kelly also look likely to play as Kenny Murray's side try to bounce back from last week's defeat at Gala with the top flight season now just seven days away.

Scotland under-18 centre Mark Bennett, who moved to Ayr from Cumnock

k over the summer, will probably be involved again after showing promise in the Borders, but captain Damien Kelly is still nursing a foot injury.

London Scottish will be playing their second match in 24 hours, having been at Malleny Park last night to take on reigning Premier One champions Currie.

Melrose, who finished third in the top flight last season, may have new recruit Hayden Mitchell involved in their side when they travel to take on Tynedale with the New Zealander having only arrived in the Borders this week.

Dundee HSFP are also in England to take on Kendal with the Tayside club having taken a squad of 25 players. Greig Ryan, who tore his achilles last week, did not make the trip.

Glasgow Hawks are taking on Perthshire following last week's 72-32 win over Premier Two new boys Falkirk. The match is taking place at Strathallan School.

Boroughmuir are taking on Edinburgh Accies while West of Scotland's new head coach Keith Robertson welcomes his old charges to Burnbrae in the shpe of Hillhead/Jordanhill, the team he led to the Premier Three title last term.

Watsonians will be looking to build on Tuesday evening's 31-0 win over Edinburgh Accies when they welcome Aberdeen Grammar to Myreside.

The match could see a return to 'Sonians colours for prop Danny Moussa after a spell at Selkirk, but hooker Tommy Wright could miss out with an ankle injury.

Newly-promoted top flight side Hawick are on the road at Darlington and fellow newcomers Stirling County are at Wharfedale in Skipton after impressive wins over Falkirk and Hillhead/Jordanhill in the last fortnight.

Premier Two side Stewart's Melville, who last week won at Howe of Fife, are taking on Dunfermline in Fife with Haddington welcoming Gala to Neilson Park in a Borders League match.
