Glasgow went down 36-17 to London Wasps at Adams Park today. Despite Glasgow's young stand-off Duncan Weir kicking the visitors into an early lead, the Wasps' scrum-half replied with two unconverted tries to got 10-3 up. Glasgow then bounced back when winger DTH Van Der Merwe capitalised on his own chip through to score. Wier then slotted the conversion to bring the scores level (10-10). Disaster then struck late on as the Wasps' winger crossed for a try which thier full-back converted to end the half (17-10). Unfortunately for the visitors, Wasps started the second half with a flourish, scoring a pair of converted tries in 20mins to give them a comfortable lead (31-10). Glasgow answered in the 75th minute through replacement back-row, Ryan Wilson, which the substituted stand-off, Ruaridh Jackson, converted however Wasps crossed once more in the 77th to end the tie. Final score (36-17)
