Scotland’s bid to be the best continues tomorrow (Friday 18 March) with their opening match of the IRB Rugby World Cup Sevens 2005 against Ireland. Following that are games against the USA and Korea with Tonga and New Zealand providing the opposition on day two. The knock-out stages begin on Sunday.

ITV are providing coverage of the tournament with highlights of day one at 7pm (GMT) on Friday on ITV 2, repeated at midnight on ITV1. Day two will be live on ITV2 from 9.25am to 11.45am with highlights following on the same channel at 5pm, repeated on ITV1 at 1am. Sunday’s games will also be live on ITV2 from 5.30am to 1.30pm with highlights on ITV1 at 11.05pm.
