Glasgow Hawks S2,41.....Greenock,0
Another breathtaking performance from the squad. With 6 players unavailable for selection the strength of having so many good players in the squad shone through. There were 11 tries scored from a combination of backs and forwards and the boys just didnt let up.The Greenock boys just couldnt get going because of the commitment shown by our boys not only to stylish attacking but ferocious tackling in defence.
Next week we venture to Edinburgh for the first time this season with a match against Boroughmuir. The game will be played at Inverleith with a 12:30 KO.The boys should aim to arrive no later than 11:45.I have a feeling that this will be our biggest challenge of the year so far, I am equally sure that the squad will rise to that challenge.
We would all like to take this opportunity to thank Pete Dalton and Matt Stevens for their invaluable help at traning recently. It was great to see Pete at the game on Sunday giving support to the boys, they noticed and were very appreciative.
