SCOTTISH UNIVERSITIES PREPARE TO FACE ENGLISH
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scottish Universities take on their English counterparts in the BUSA Home International on Saturday 19 March at Imperial Medicals’ ground, Teddington, kick-off 12 noon. The Scottish squad will be looking to improve on their last performance where they were beaten by an impressive Welsh outfit.

In last weekend’s contest Wales managed to put four tries past Scotland in the closing ten minutes of the first half, but Scotland replied with one of their own through RGU’s Scott Kennedy converted by Jamie Duguid taking the half-time score to 7-33.

Scotland maintained their good form in the opening quarter of the second half, but continued Welsh pressure brought its reward in the form of four more tries in the closing stages of the match. The final score: Scottish Universities 7 Wales Universities 61.
