Glasgow Hawks 50-3 Stew/Mel

Hard working performance across team resulted in emphatic victory in end. Debuts given to Robert Wilson, at 12, and David Ferguson, at 6. Mike Martin pen after 3mins , reward for early pressure. Individualist try from Sean Murray, caught ball in air and stepped and weaved past last defenders. 10-0 after Mike's conv. Next couple of scores from decent line out ball, Johnny Potter finishing first after 18mins  before great angled run from Sean got the score to 24-3 just before HT. Stew/Mel kicking a penalty between last 2 tries. Superb defence kept them out for long periods.
Team always trying to attack at pace made life difficult for Stew/Mel. Sean Murray completed 4th hat trick of season after great lead up work by Callum Harvey and superb miss pass from Paddy Boyer. 29-3 after 54mins. Mike Martin scored next one and converted, defence opened up by pace and vision from Scott Cameron and Sean. Johnny P scored weekly long range effort, broke couple of tackles and finished well. 43-3, Mike's 5th conv of day. No respite for Stew/Mel's defence with Hawks attacking to very end, Johnny P completing hat-trick after several quick phases. Mike's conv brought up the 50pts.
