It is with great sadness that we report the death of Charlie Forsyth
Charlie suffered a heart attack earlier this week whilst on holiday in Spain and he sadly passed away this morning
Charlie was so much part of the fabric of Old Anniesland whether as a player with Glasgow High,and GHK ,a teacher at High School of Glasgow,or as a coach and video man with Hawks
A product of Jordonhill College who learnt to speak Russian whilst on National Service Charlie was one of the first players to join Glasgow High when Glasgow H.S.F.P went open in 1971

In his teaching and coaching capacity he always gave encouragement whilst building up confidence and helping the less gifted

Charlie was involved with Hawks in various roles since the birth of the club in 1997 and he will be sorely missed

Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time
