PRESENTATION OF DEFRIBRILATOR……..Glasgow Accies were delighted to be presented with a new defibrilator after Saturday’s match with Annan at New Anniesland. This essential equipment was presented personally by John Hodgkinson, whose son Craig, of GHK and Hawks, died from an unknown cardiac defect whilst playing rugby for the Navy.
The CRAIG HODGKINSON TRUST has raised funds to enable defibrilators to be donated to sports clubs and communities, to ensure that life-saving equipment is available when young men and women are enjoying the sports they love. It is, indeed, a fitting memorial to Craig,…. and Accies appreciate enormously this wonderful gesture.
Photographed are Kirsty Waltho (Club Physio), seen receiving the new equipment from John Hodgkinson, along with Head Coach John Beattie, and club officials and players.
