Hawks Under 13's 12 Marr 0
The boys recorded their 3rd win in a row in a game that was much closer than the scoreline suggests. Marr really played as a team and were probably the best organised and drilled one that we have played this season. The tackling from both teams was good and Hawks are starting to get more of their first tackles in. With a good supply of ball our backs attacked at every opportunity and while the work at the breakdown continues to improve we now need to work on getting the ball away quicker. We put them under a lot of pressure and they rarely got into our 22. Our first try was a hack through and chase from a Marr dropped pass with the touchdown just before the deadball line. The second was a 40 yard sprint by our right wing after the ball was spun out the line. The final try was after a great steal by our forwards and support play before moving out the backs for a score in the left corner. All 3 tries were converted. Another good performance and the first game we've not conceded any points.
