Alastair Kellock will lead Glasgow against Toulouse
Nine Scotland internationals will start for Glasgow Warriors in Friday night's Heineken Cup clash with Toulouse at Firhill.
Alastair Kellock, who captained Scotland to a 2-0 series win in Argentina in June before missing the autumn Tests following a knee injury, will line up as skipper for the Pool Six clash with the four-time European champions.
Alongside Al in the second row will be Richie Gray, Dougie Hall and Moray Low pack down in the front row, John Barclay and Richie Vernon in the back row, while the three-quarter line features Ruaridh Jackson, Graeme Morrison and Max Evans.
The Warriors beat Toulouse in France in January 2009, but head coach Sean Lineen is aware it will be difficult to repeat the feat.
He said: "Toulouse are the All Blacks of the northern hemisphere. They are incredibly comfortable in defence and have real composure and consistency.
"They are great to play against because they let you play rugby, but they still make it extremely difficult to get over the try line."
It is the first of two successive meetings with Toulouse, with Glasgow travelling to south west France on December 18.
"This group of players is really excited about playing the European champions," added Sean.
"Although, in terms of preparation, we can't control the weather, we can control our mindset and there are no excuses this weekend."
Adverse weather covering Scotland could force the postponement of the fixture, but the Warriors hope a forecasted thaw of the snow and ice will help ensure the game takes place.
