Thomson is a late replacement for the injured Hall
The severe weather has led to Glasgow's return Heineken Cup tie against Toulouse being postponed until Sunday.
The match had been scheduled to kick off at 1430 GMT at the Stade Ernest Wallon, but adverse weather had caused travel problems for the Scottish side.
The match will now start at 1400 GMT on Sunday 19 December.
Wintry weather conditions across the continent had caused delays in the arrival of the Warriors and their equipment, forcing the call-off.
