GHK News - The View from the First Man Over the Top
The Greatest Regiment
Our rugby regiment strong and true
Prepared for battle with much ado.
We are first to the breach, the last to retreat,
The first to rejoice and the last to weep.
We have battled our foes with glory and strife,
Doing our best just to do the basics right.
We are always given the hardest missions,
Since O.A. relied on us for its many ambitions.
Our Captain is German with pube like brown hair
And bright brown eyes that occasionally stare.
With his lederhosen and black shoe like boots,
O.A. through and through right down to his roots.
Our Men in the field fight hard and are proud,
To have the finest second row around.
They will lead us to battle and back to HQ,
Always greeted on return by Eric Hugh.
Together as one, once again I pray,
My personal preference is Cammy McClay.
This feeling will last until the seasons end
With an unyielding and brilliant winning trend.
The GHK Regiment, strong and true,
The opposition wouldn’t gather for battle if they knew,
The way it would end with victory sought,
How they would charge, and quickly were caught.
Adjutant General is looking forward to Summer but remember to bring your trainers. The Prince. Hurrah.

Yours as always, running towards the gunfire. 11am Flying Scotsman. Pulling armpit hairs. Never wearing white boots. The need to pee at five to three. Forwards should always hunt in packs. Grasp the waistband. Never face the grass and never put your hands on backwards. Challenge your twilight hours.
Teamtalks in the showers are the German way. Altos Band. Pate Pies.
