GLASGOW SALON CONFIRM RUGBY SPONSORSHIP
Glasgow’s award winning salon Ellen Conlin Hair and Beauty has pledged its support behind the young up and coming Glasgow Hawks rugby star Kerr Gossman.

The sponsorship, which includes financial support as well as responsibility to ensure that Kerr is well groomed for match days, is part of the salon’s continued support of local community organisations.

The salon hopes that their sponsorship of Kerr will help not only to raise his profile but also of rugby within Glasgow.

18 year old Kerr, from Glasgow, previously played with Jordanhill where he secured 2 caps for the Scotland under 19 team. He joined the Hawks in 2008 as a winger and has played a total of 31 games for the team.

Ken Main, managing director of Ellen Conlin Hair and Beauty said: “We feel that as a local business, we should be more actively involved in the events that bring together our community and it is for this reason that we are proud to be involved with Glasgow Hawks this year. They have produced some great talent, some of whom are now playing at a national level. The team also has an abundance of up and coming youngsters that have ambitions and skill.

“We are really looking forward to getting behind Kerr throughout the next season and encouraging him and the rest of the team to make great progress towards the top of the league.”

Kerr Gossman added “It is great to have local businesses such as Ellen Conlin Haair and Beauty getting behind the Hawks. Their support and sponsorship is greatly appreciated and will help to strengthen the team.

“I’m really looking forward to kicking off the 2010/2011 season. We have a great squad this year and hopefully we can build on last season, making good progress and bring home some silverware for our supporters.”
