A last-minute try from Aly Muldowney earned an inexperienced Glasgow side a share of the spoils with the Newport Gwent Dragons at Firhill.
Matthew Jones kicked two first-half penalties to edge the visitors ahead.
Duncan Weir levelled matters with two penalties but Andrew Coombs scored after Luke Charteris had charged down an ill-judged kick from Henry Pyrgos.
