Scotland’s last match in the 2011 RBS 6 Nations will be preceded by a round of club rugby Premier Cup and National Shield knockout matches.
Two of the four Premier Cup clashes will take place at 12 noon on Saturday with Boroughmuir hosting Dundee in a tantalising league and cup double header at Meggetland while Hawick take on league champions Currie at Mansfield Park.
The second and third quarter-finals of the National Shield will also get underway on Saturday as East Kilbride welcome GHK to East Kilbride Sports Club and Allan Glen's face Hawick YM at their home, the Bearyards.
On Sunday the Premier Cup picks up again with the third quarter-final (between Heriot’s and Melrose at Goldenacre, kick-off 2pm), to determine who will face the victor of Saturday's Hawick v Currie clash in the next round.
The final Premier Cup match of Sunday afternoon is the Pool playoff between Glasgow city rivals West of Scotland and Glasgow Hawks at Burnbrae (kick-off 3pm) with the winner to face defending champions Ayr in the quarter-final.
