FROM EDINBURGH ACCIES
West of Scotland Pre-Match Lunch
Saturday 2nd April 2011 – Raeburn Place, 12.30pm meet at the Clubhouse
We will be having the last of our pre-match lunches before the forthcoming and final league match of the season versus West of Scotland Football Club.
It is an auspicious occasion - not only is it the 140th anniversary of the first international rugby match (Scotland vs. England, 1871) but there will be a presentation to the Club of a potentially life saving defibrillator machine by John and Diane Hodgkinson of the Craig Hodgkinson Trust. We are very thankful to them and the Trust for this very kind donation and funds raised from the lunch will go towards their great work.
The lunches so far this season have been very successful – we are sure it will be the same this time around! It is a great opportunity to meet friends, or perhaps entertain business associates, in a congenial setting before the match.
We will be gathering in the clubhouse at 12.30pm for drinks, followed by lunch and then the match which kicks off at 3pm.
