Glasgow Hawks 63-14 Watsonians

Scoreline thoroughly deserved after the huge amount of work put in by whole squad. Only disappointment was the "double jug avoidance" by Sean Murray!!  5 brilliant tries could have been 6 , instead passed to Stu Low! In fact Hawks 2's looking forward to supping from the 4 jugs that Sean still needs to supply, as reward for scoring 4 hat-tricks in his 24 tries, so far!! Great stuff.
34-0 by HT. Made up of :  Sean receiving great long pass from Robert Wilson after big scrum and break by Robbie McG, finished well from 40m.        Sean on end of quick hands in midfield from another big scrum and break by Rob Wilson.       Stu Low finished similar move , in same corner, ultimately deprived Skinny of "double jug" by being there!        Callum Harvey after long Sean break , allowed Hawks to pinch line-out ball and Kirkie off-load to Carvery.    Jonno Wright stood up last defenders after ball moved across width with quick hands from Sean/Stu. And there was a conversion! - Mike Martin.  Sean , for hat-trick, on end of break by Mike, continued by Rob Wilson before giving fab 2-on-1 pass. 2nd conversion.
For first time whole bench used at HT, 5 subs on , challenged to keep up tempo and skills.
63-14 by FT.  Mark Taylor scorched past burst defence after Mike M turned ball over from unfortunate Watson's centre, who went down with hamstring  injury, as if targeted by "proverbial" sniper. Watson's got their game going for period, and scored great length of field try. But big questions  about Hawks defensive pressure.
Sean for his 4th, stepped last defence from 30m, after ball moved wide by Brecko and Tails, great hit up in centre by Hendo allowed quick ruck ball for finish.  Another Mike conv.  Followed by dodgy defence again, allowed Watson's to score from own line, winger out paced cover.  46-14 now.
 Milto Hamilton finished after great support running and several quick rucks.  Mike M  from turn-over and a wee assist from Paddy B, shrugged off last defenders, and converted.   Sean bagged his 5th in last minute, somehow persuading  Ally Maxwell to pass and diving over in corner.
Great entertainment and reward for months of hard work . Last try was 11th of game and 100th of high scoring season!!!
