Kelvinside Academy commend former Hawks coach

Associate School Kelvinside Academy website reports

David Wilson Head of Physical Education and Director of Sports at Kelvinside Academy has just enjoyed a successful season as Head Coach of the Scotland U17 Squad. The programme for the U17’s involved two International fixtures against England and France as well as a week long International Festival at Wellington School, England.
This appointment comes off the back of two seasons working with the Scotland U19 team and a long involvement working within the Club Premiership Leagues. In the past David was also Head Coach of Glasgow Hawks and helped secure their third premiership title in 2005-6 and also the Scottish National Cup in 2006-7. David’s experience at Club and International level has meant that many of the boys from Kelvinside Academy have gone on to do well in Rugby, most notably Richie Gray (2007).
