The GHK RFC AGM on 14 June ratified Ewan Cameron as Club President for Season 2011/2012 along with Ronnie Gourley as Vice President. Ewan presented outgoing President Lindsay Kerr with his "President's" tankard thanking Lindsay for his hard work and leadership in steering the Club through a very successful season both on and off the pitch, culminating in a quite outstanding tour to Colorado.

Ewan commented "I am very much looking forward to continuing the good work of the committee, coaches and all the other backroom team as we head in to next season. There is a really good feeling about OA. As evidenced over last season and in particular for those fortunate enough to have been on the tour we have a great bunch of young players with excellent team spirit who enjoy playing exciting rugby. Their appetite for mixing hard work with fun and the desire to win bodes well for the forthcoming season."
