The Bugle sounds The Charge

Your earnest scribe whilst indulging in his daily perambulation on a cross trainer at LA Milngavie received a text that broke his stride the content of which he felt obliged to check out before rushing to print

It is great to be able to announce that Kenny Baillie got engaged today to Liz

From all at Hawks and Anniesland Good luck and best wishes

Since he arrived at Hawks at the beginning if the new millennium he has played a wide range of roles not least being The Bugle on the famous South African tour of 03

He has been a constant presence at Hawks over these years with the exception of a stay in Boston USA where he played for the Wolfhounds until at the end of 09 he became CEO for the Warriors

Throughout this time he was always at the centre of things and his efforts on and off the pitch have been much appreciated
Earlier this week he met up with other Hawks legends which included Munro, Wallace, Smith, Docherty, McInytre, Leighton, Horton, McKenzie, Afuakwah (not usual spelling!), Monaghan, Francis, Sitch, Begley and Fyfe

Kenny's departure from the Warriors to seek new challenges down in The Smoke has been trailed for some time to the extent that a source close to the Club suggested he has had more farewell tours than Status Quo

So to both Liz and Kenny from all at Hawks once again good luck and as a famous coach once said "this is what you trained for"
