On Friday some Hawks and ex Hawks gathered together to say farewell to Mike as he travels South to join London Scottish. Many Glasgow and Scotland players also attended to show their appreciation.
Since he came straight from Dollar Academy to Hawks, Mike has been a talented but modest player who fitted in well both on and off the pitch.
He has travelled round the world with his Scotland 7's success; attended a Commonwealth Games and represented Hawks , Scotland and his parents with credit.
His work with the Community part of Hawks ; fundraising for Yorkhill and organisation of the Movember Ball for the Craig Hodgkinson Trust shows how closely he has integrated into many aspects of Hawks.

All involved in rugby in Glasgow wish him success with his new club.
