Waitrose Byres Road would like to support Glasgow Hawks Sports Trust by including the Trust in our monthly charity initiative for August 2011. Every month Waitrose Byres Road donates £1000 which is shared between three charities proportionally according to the votes of our customers. After every transaction customers are given a little green token to drop into one of three boxes representing the three charities for that month.”
 

For the whole of August, therefore, Glasgow Hawks Sports Trust will be one of three charities in with the chance of winning some money through the Waitrose Community Matters Charity Initiative. For Hawks to receive as much money as possible we need to encourage everyone to shop at Waitrose for the month of August and pick Hawks as their chosen charity. All you have to do is put your green tokens in the Hawks box in the shop.
