Gentlemen.
Please be advised that the first meeting of GROGS for season 2011-2012 will take place at Braidholm on Wednesday 12th October at 12 noon for 12-30. Former International Referee Alan Hosie will be the guest speaker. The cost of lunch remains at £12 and it would be helpful if you had the correct money available on arrival for collection by Murray Kerr.
Other dates for you diary are:
Wednesday 9th November    Tom English leading sportswriter for the Scotsman and author of the highly entertaining book the 'Grudge.'
Wednesday 30th November    Ian McLauchlan President of the SRU (to be confirmed)
Wednesday 14th December    Rev. Howard Hazlett former Chaplain to Edinburgh Academy and highly entertaining rugby raconteur (Not to be missed)
All four speakers for 2012 have been confirmed but more later.
Please spread the word about the GROGS as there are still rugby enthusiasts in the West of Scotland who do not know of its existence and all are welcome.
As usual please let me know if you intend to be present at the October meeting
