The first ever points

When Scotland played England in the first ever international match in 1871 at Raeburn Place you got no points for a try
So it came to pass that the honour of scoring the first ever points in the history of the international game fell to a Glasgow Accie William Cross who converted the "try at goal" following a touchdown by Angus Buchanan of Royal High
Good luck to the team and especially the five with ANNIESLAND connections
