Hopefully you will have read the match report from East Kilbride last Saturday, what a day, it had been pouring for hours before and it continued throughout the game.  The photo summed it all up. A win is a win and probably last year we would have conceded the points.  Here we are 3rd top with 21 points and GHK are top with 28 points.  
 
Tomorrow we host Marr (lying 2nd with 3 more points) at New Anniesland at 3pm.We have both won 5 out of 6 games but Marr have 3 more bonus points than us. There is everything to play for and it will be a fascinating game of skill, fitness, and tactics.  Once you have gorged yourself on semi final WCR come and see some real passion.
 
This week we see the return of captain Stu Smith from his neck injury, Cammy McCall at stand off, Robert Beattie at full back, and young Harry Walker at outside centre with sibling Michael in the 2nd row.  The pack is fairly stable with Matt Franklin in at prop, Matteo Gio at hooker, and Chris Wright slipping into wing forward. Jack walker and Connor Diffin both suffered head knocks and we wish them a speedy recovery which will take 3 or 4 weeks.
 
The 2nds recorded a great win over Marr 2nds at New Anniesland (23-7) and this is down to a good pool structure, commitment, and a good game plan. This week they are also at home to West. The 2nds sit 3 point clear in their league above Whitecraigs, Cartha and GHK, no mean feat.  Keep it up!
 
Finally, I mentioned the exploits of Stuart Hardie last week and for those of you who have been following his progress you will be inspired by his true grit and determination.
