Nick Campbell’s great start to the season continued today when Warriors fans voted him McCrea Financial Services Player of the Month in association with Hotel Du Vin for September 2011.

The Scottish Rugby Elite Development lock, who has learned his trade with Allan Glen’s, Cartha Queens Park and latterly Glasgow Hawks, impressed throughout the month, most memorably when his first Warriors try helped secure the historic RaboDirect PRO12 win away to Leinster.

Campbell secured 41% of the votes cast on the poll on www.glasgowwarriors.org. Runner up was the ever popular Rob Harley, who impressed as stand-in skipper in the absence of Al Kellock.
