Dear Supporter,
 
Last week we encountered a strong Marr side at home and despite an improved performance with a great start and some of the season’s best rugby, we lost.  The seconds played host to West 2a’s and with a considerably altered team they also lost.  
 
 
This week we are away to Allan Glens in another league game before we host them the following week in the Shield competition. Despite the loss last week we are still in 4th position, 4 points behind Irvine, 8 behind Marr, and GHK are well ahead, so there is still everything to play for and our aim is to finish in the top four places.
 
The 2nds are also away to Cartha (ko 3pm) and we are lying 2nd with 19 points, with Whitecraigs leading with 21 points. Cartha are only one point behind with a game in hand so this league is also very tight and Accies are pushing at the top.
 
 
The 1st XV continue to have changes in the backs with Ben Semple on the wing for Mike Hermes, Jamie Doig at I/S centre, and Stu Smith moving out to No13. The pack are more stable this week with Chris McAlpine starting at No. 3.
