Yoker Primary win the primary school World Cup


On Friday 14th of October, Glasgow Life ran a rugby world cup festival at Scotstoun stadium, 20 primary schools from the North West of Glasgow took part in the competition that was ran in the same format as the rugby world cup, each school was given a country and they played as that country for the day.
7 of the 20 schools were ones from the Hawks catchment area and the eventual winners were Yoker primary school, they were given New Zealand as their country and class teach Laura Macmillan pulled out all the stops to get the children organised in their strips and flags.
The Hawks community staff would like to say a big well done to all of the teams that took part and a huge congratulations to Yoker on winning the competition.
