As you are aware, Scottish Rugby’s well-established President’s roadshows will take place around the country over the next month. The roadshow for the West Region will be held in the GHK RFC clubhouse, Old Anniesland, 631 Crow Road, Glasgow G13 1PL on Monday 21 November (6.30pm for 7.00). This will be the first occasion that many clubs and referees’ societies will have had the opportunity to meet both our new chief executive, Mark Dodson, and our new chairman, Sir Moir Lockhead. Ian McLauchlan, the President, also will be attending, as will Colin Thomson, Head of Community Rugby, and Dominic McKay, Director of Communications and Public Affairs. We hope that a cross-section of those involved in our game, whether on the playing, coaching, refereeing or administration side, will attend these roadshows, and we seek your help to ensure that each club and referees’ society is represented. The roadshow will be hosted by the President. The format will be in keeping with previous years, with updates from Mark and Sir Moir on the business, Colin on the club game, and Dominic on some of the challenges and initiatives on the corporate front. The evening will conclude with a Questions & Answers session. We would also like to capture images from each roadshow for use on the Scottish Rugby website, our publications and for supplying to the media. So we look forward to as strong an attendance as possible. JM GilliesRegional AdministratorWest RegionMob Number 07764178954
