The SRU have just had their press launch for the 1872 Cup with the teams having an international flavour
However it's root were of a much more local focus on the two cities when you look at the original Glasgow XX that took the pitch on 23rd November 1872 at the Glasgow Accie ground Burnbank a ground they shared at one time with another Glasgow institution-- Rangers
