Résumé : Le Club a décidé de ne pas garder le centre écossais Stu SMITH après une période d'essai de 15 jours.


Article : La principale raison de ce choix réside dans le fait que l'infirmerie des lignes arrières du RCNM se vide peu à peu.
En effet, le retour à la compétition de Frédéric LARTIGUE est imminent, la convalescence de Jean-Philippe VIARD suit son cours de manière très satisfaisante et les 3 centres Cédric DESBROSSE, Lionel MAZARS et Olivier BÉNASSIS sont aptes pour le service.
Ainsi, le staff sportif n'a pas jugé utile ce conserver ce joueur dans son effectif.

The Centre Stu Smith Will not be a Part of the Narbonne Squad

The club has decided not to retain the Scottish centre Stu Smith after a 15 day trial period.

The principal reason for the decision is that our back line injury list is growing smaller by the minute. Indeed the return to the stage of Frederick Lartigue is imminent and Jean-Phillipe Viard is making extremely satisfactory progress. In addition 3 other centres, Cedric Desbrosse, Lionel Mazars and Olivier Benassis are fit for duty.

The coaching staff have accordingly come to the view that there was no requirement to keep another centre (Stu Smith) in the squad.
