Poignant day for McKay as Exiles outclass the Select side

Aberdeen Exiles had too much pace and class for the Aberdeen Select in the Boxing Day fixture at Rubislaw, running in seven tries to two in a highly entertaining game of rugby.
The match was marked by a fine performance from Scotland A and Glasgow Hawks player Rory McKay, who scored two of the Exiles tries and won the man-of-the-match award. But McKay was upstaged in the tries count by team-mate and winger John Geddie, who scored four.
The Quaich was presented in memory of late stalwarts of the local game, Stan Cusiter and Graeme McKay, who was Rory McKay’s father.
