When Hamilton arrive at Old ANNIESLAND for the first league clash between the two clubs Hawks will also welcome back two familiar faces In the form of the Maxtons 
Hamilton Club Captain Richard Maxton was a stalwart in the Hawks Championship teams of 2003-06 and his father John pulled on the colours of Glasgow Accies whilst teaching at Colebrooke St
During John now Lord Maxton's political career he sat on the commons select committe on media culture and sport that investigated Professionalism in Rugby  
Curiously Hawks were the only Scottish club to make a submission to that body and it's memorandum recorded in Hansard still makes good reading today 13 years on
