HAWKS S2S MATCH REPORT V HAWICK ALBION

Glasgow Hawks S2,9.........Hawick Albion,4

This was more like it.A tough match played in difficult conditions, fought to the end.
Both sides came into this fixture undefeated and the young hawks were determined to come out on top.The pitch was like treacle in places and the ball was wet and slippy so this was always going to be a match that relied heavily on the pack. The boys did not disappoint. The set piece went well and the play in the loose was excellent.Of the three tries scored 2 came from the pack and Finn Campbell Young rounded off an excellent debut appearance with a very nice try.
On the injury front Rory Taylor received a nasty head injury but I am glad to report that after a preautionary visit to the hospital all is well and he should be fit for the next match which is at home to West next Sunday KO 1:00pm.
