Glasgow Hawks have now scored over 150 points in their last three competitive fixtures after they saw off Hillhead/ Jordanhill to reach the semi-finals of the RBS West Regional Cup on Saturday.

The quarter-final tie was put out of Hillhead’s reach when Scotland Sevens cap Ross Miller went over from No 8 either side of the interval.Haddon MacPherson scored a try for the visitors before Hawks finished things off through Grant Strang.
Dumfries saw off RBS Premier Three rivals Dalziel 18-0 in Motherwell to also clinch a last four spot, and their reward is a home semi with Ayr in a fortnight. On the same day Hawks host Whitecraigs.
In the RBS Caledonia Regional Cup, Stirling County have won two from two in Group B after they beat Perthshire 68-14.
Danny Gilmour led the way with a hat-trick, while Graham Lindsay also went over for three tries and Bengy Barsanti bagged a brace. Other tries from County came from Robbie Boswell, Stuart Edwards and Mike Doneghan, while Craig Assenti showed great pace to bag Perthshire’s two tries. Also in that group, Howe of Fife defeated Falkirk 31-16 in Cupar.
In the City of Discovery Dundee HSFP scored ten tries to see off Morgan Academy 66-6.
And in the RBS Edinburgh Regional Cup, the Edinburgh Accies will not go through to the knock-out stage, despite their 48-13 win, after failing to beat Haddington by a margin of 55 points.
