Former head boy at St Columba's School, Sean was included in the extended 2013/14 Scotland under-20 squad and made his international debut off the bench for the final 6 Nations game, against Wales in Colwyn Bay in March 2014.

He has played at age grade level for Glasgow at under-16, under-17 and under-18 and is currently studying mechanical engineering at University of Strathclyde.
