The Hawks U14 squad produced a magnificent effort yesterday to win the Stirling tournament on Sunday leaving Bridgehaugh undefeated.

Results in the Group stages were

Hawks v Ayr 31 – 5
Hawks v Falkirk 26 – 12
Hawks v EK 24 – 12

In the Semi Final they went into a 4 try lead against local rivals West and withstood their strong fightback of 3 tries before stretching away to eventually defeat West 31 – 16

In the Final we were up against the hosts, Stirling, who looked slick and quick in their early games but the home advantage was probably evened out as they had to play the Final just about straight after their Semi was finished.
Hawks quickly stretched their lead and despite a brief Stirling fightback ran out comfortable winners 38 – 5.

A great squad effort from all the boys and supporters.
